They are not to be disturbed even if they are on the trail and block your way.

The River Mountains are a non-motorized use area.  The River Mountains Loop Trail is a non-motorized trail.   
No ATVs, no OHVs, no motorcycles, no dirt bikes.

Very primitive access point, with parking for three or four cars, no trash cans, no rest rooms, and no water will be found at this location.  Do not confuse this “Bootleg Canyon” trailhead with the Bootleg Canyon trailhead located in Bootleg Canyon Park located about one mile east of this location.

Directions: Take 93 south to Boulder City.  At the first stop light just outside of Boulder City at the intersection of 93 and Veteran Memorial Drive, turn left or north.   Go under the railroad tracks and up the hill.  Take the first paved road on the left (west).  At a little under one mile, you will see the trailhead on the right (north).   See map below.  This picture was taken before the trail was constructed.
