The National Park Service has produced a new map of the
Hoover Dam, Historic Railroad Trail and O'Callaghan-Tillman Bridge area.
Follow this link to a 11" x 17" PDF of the new map. Below is picture
of one section of this map. The map also has the following information:

Information:
·
All visitors to the Hoover Dam Visitor Center are
required to enter the facility through a security checkpoint. Knives and
weapons are not permitted in the Visitor Center.
·
Stopping on top of the dam in any vehicle is prohibited.
·
Pedestrians are not allowed on the top of the Hoover Dam
after dark.
·
Pets are permitted within Lake Mead NRA (on a 6-foot leash)
except where posted; however, pets are not allowed on top of the Hoover
Dam or the Mike O'Callaghan- Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge walkway.
·
Vehicles are not permitted to stop on the Mike
O'Callaghan-Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge
·
Glass and Styrofoam are not permitted at Lake Mead National
Recreation Area.

A black and white, 81/2" x 11" PDF
(two-sided) handout has been prepared
for the October 18, 2008 Henderson National Trails Day
public event at the Special Events plaza in front of Henderson
City Hall.. The handout is meant to be folded and put in
a pocket.
For the first time this map includes:

A map with mile markers. (The markers
or monuments are not on the ground).

1/2 mile markers. (The
markers or monuments are not on the ground).

The
back has a map of the Historical Railroad Trail, plus the hours that
it is open
|

An updated "Vertical Profile" with elevation gain by
mile markers

A location map of the trail in southern Nevada

Added words "The entire trail is designated
"Non-Motorized Use"
|
 |
Added the "311" incident phone number. The 311
number is operated by area police departments
to field non-emergency police calls. This phone number will be used
to reduce the number of calls to 911.
