Desert tortoises and bighorn sheep have the "right-of-way."
They are not to be disturbed even if they are on the trail and block your way.

The River Mountains are a non-motorized use area.  The River Mountains Loop Trail is a non-motorized trail.   
No ATVs, no OHVs, no motorcycles, no dirt bikes.

Alan Bible Visitor Center Trailhead (in the lower parking lot)  (702) 293-8990 Use www.Google.com and put "93 NV-166, Boulder City, Clark, Nevada 89005" to find the visitor center.

The Alan Bible Visitor Center is 4 miles northeast of Boulder City on U.S. 93 on the way to Hoover Dam at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and US 93  (just before the Hacienda Hotel). 

This trailhead location is a joint trailhead with the River Mountains Loop Trail and the Historic Railroad Trail.  This trailhead is located in the Alan Bible Visitor's Center lower parking lot.
