Desert tortoises and bighorn sheep have the "right-of-way."
They are not to be disturbed even if they are on the trail and block your way.

The River Mountains are a non-motorized use area.  The River Mountains Loop Trail is a non-motorized trail.   
No ATVs, no OHVs, no motorcycles, no dirt bikes.

bulletEquestrian Park Trailhead, Henderson –  1699 Equestrian Dr. (at Foothills Dr.), Henderson NV 89002.  Bathroom, water, animal water.

To find Equestrian Park Trailhead from Las Vegas take 515 to the Horizon Drive exit, at the top of the exit turn left (east) on Horizon Drive and go maybe ten blocks to Boulder Highway, turn right (south) on Boulder Highway, go south one block to the next traffic light (Equestrian).

 At the traffic light turn left (east) on Equestrian Drive and take it to the end of the street.  This is the trailhead.  The building is a bathroom.  Park in the dirt and enjoy the desert.

 Or as an alternate route take I-515 to Wagon Wheel off ramp, go east on Wagon Wheel until it dead ends at Foothills Drive, go left (north) until it stops at Equestrian Drive.  At the traffic light turn left (east) on Equestrian Drive and take it to the end of the street.  This is the trailhead.  The building is a bathroom.  Park in the dirt and enjoy the desert.
